Description

Students learn to make and play a traditional Andean sicu, a small 3-toned bamboo pan pipe that originates from the ancient Inca civilization. This hands-on cultural experience is one that your students are sure to remember.

Students Will

Duration: Five 1-hour sessions-more can be added for a more in depth experience
School Fee: 5 days X 2 classes (minimum) = $750. Supply fee of $3.00 per student.

Other Information: Minimum of two consecutive classes must participate. Also, all participating teachers must attend a 30-minute teacher/artist meeting prior to the residency

Deadline: Minimum of three weeks prior to requested start date.
Cancellation Policy: A program is confirmed when you receive your contract by mail, fax, or email. Should illness, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the program taking place as scheduled, Young Audiences will offer the option of rescheduling or using a substitute artist. Programs canceled by a school or community presenter after confirmation are subject to full payment. A $25 rescheduling fee will be charged if a schedule change is requested after a program has been confirmed.
After School Policy: A teacher or afterschool employee must remain with class at all times.
