Description
This unique storytelling program presents dynamic tales accompanied by fascinating science tricks and demonstrations. Classic and original stories are used to explore basic principles of chemistry, biology, physics, astronomy and more. Students will actively employ the Scientific Method while participating in hands-on explorations that make science fun!

Students Will
  • participate in hands-on explorations.
  • verbally interact during science demonstrations.
  • study 3 forms of matter.
  • see demonstration of chemical reaction.
  • explore momentum, friction and gravity.
  • learn how to locate the North Star (Polaris).
  • memorize the color of the rainbow in correct order.

Technical Needs: Please designate a person in your school as the primary contact on the day of the program to facilitate artist needsStage area to be swept and cleared of all risers, desks, tables, etc. before artists arrival. Off stage areas must be clear.

Deadline: Minumum of three weeks prior to requested performance date.
Cancellation Policy: A program is confirmed when you receive your contract by mail, fax, or email. Should illness, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the program taking place as scheduled, Young Audiences will offer the option of rescheduling or using a substitute artist. Programs canceled by a school or community presenter after confirmation are subject to full payment. A $25 rescheduling fee will be charged if a schedule change is requested after a program has been confirmed.
After School Policy: A teacher or afterschool employee must remain with class at all times.
